Dan: Ran a quick 4 miles around South Boulder. Legs are way ahead of my lungs at this point in training. I was sucking wind on the steeper hills. This past winter I put in considerable hiking miles, mostly flats mixed with easy running played weekly basketball to get my hops back. Good for weight management, but none of it was a good substitute for the sustained cardio benefits that come from hillwork!
Dan: Walked the dog for 3.5 miles.
